The very survival of the human race is now seriously endangered as never before.
This is not something abstract to be concerned about sometime in the future. It is a very tangible and present-day reality. There is nothing more important for us all to be aware of and to address urgently at this time. It has become critical to find ways to reverse the catastrophic trajectory of our world before it is too late.
SURVIVAL UNIVERSITY will be dedicated to this single overriding task for which it is named. Literally humans throughout the world must become aware, must be quickly and intensely educated, and must become engaged in demanding that their leaders urgently change their policies, priorities, and ways of thinking. It can’t be repeated enough what Einstein and his scientific colleagues forcefully declared in 1946, the most urgent world priority is to build an awareness of: “One World or None.” For them, and now for us, this should not be a slogan, it must now become, and quickly, an urgent imperative, and the critical theme of SURVIVAL UNIVERSITY.
For Einstein and his colleagues, the overriding issue was to bring nuclear weapons under international control to prevent their scientific discoveries from threatening mass extinction. That is the key issue, even more urgent today, that could quite literally result in humanity’s total demise within hours. As Einstein also told us, with weapons of mass destruction developing so fast he was not sure what weapons would be used to in a WWIII that would destroy humanity, but he was sure what weapons would be used in World War IV: “sticks and stones.”
Today, there are four major areas of concern SURVIVAL UNIVERSITY will focus on, because they have all literally become a threat not only to human prosperity, but to humanity’s survival.
Ending the threat of nuclear and other weapons of mass destruction
Quickly alleviating climate disaster which is clearly underway
Seriously preparing for pandemic diseases led by the World Health Organization.
Preventing biological weapons and Artificial Intelligence being weaponized.
Each of these divergent threats to humanity’s survival requires major rethinking. Either we will learn to live together; to appreciate our national, religious, and cultural differences, to use human resources for the betterment of humanity in “One World” rather than mass preparations for Armageddon, or we will find his prediction of “None” to come true.

Serious Risk of Nuclear Weapons Use
24 March 2026: We are in the most dangerous days of our lifetimes, days pregnant with an escalating World War and the very real possibility that a severely mentally incapacitated American president, along with an equally dangerous Israeli prime minister, both cornered as never before, may escalate to nuclear weapons if we do not stop them before it is too late.
One of the nation’s most knowledgeable journalists, Chris Hedges, has said: “Israel has at least 300 nuclear weapons. And Netanyahu is insane enough to use one.” Brilliant Brazilian geostrategic analyst Pepe Escobar joins in: “...it’s no wonder that the unthinkable is resurging here and there and everywhere, which would be to resort to tactical nuclear weapons or even a nuclear weapon either from the U.S. or from Israel or both,… because you’re dealing with an irrational megalomaniac psycho totally cornered.”
Escobar very importantly adds: “We cannot trust on anything coming from American media whatever that is New York Times, Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, Axios. All of these lie for business and they lie to protect their assets to protect their asses, to protect their jobs, to protect their position inside the Military-Industrial-Congressional-Intelligence-Media-Academia-Think tank complex.... So you cannot trust anything they say ... though sometimes they leak stuff that may be closer to the truth.”
Another excellent and highly knowledgeable political analyst, Max Blumenthal, has recently warned: “I think we should consider the possibility that Donald Trump could detonate some form of nuclear weapon or tactical nuclear weapon…. The Israelis do not want Donald Trump to walk away from this. He’s being urged to walk away by many of his advisers, but the Israelis have all this leverage over him. So, we should be concerned about whether they’ll drop a nuclear weapon.”
These are among the original concerns why, from the very beginning in early 2017, the nation’s top psychiatrists came together at Yale School of Medicine, believing they had a professional and civic responsibility to immediately warn how dangerous it was going to be to have a person with Donald Trump’s severe mental problems empowered—including, most worrisome of all, control over the nation’s nuclear arsenals. That was why they rushed to print what quickly became a major national bestseller a few months later that year. Benjamin Netanyahu has manipulated the currently mentally-troubled American Commander-in-Chief to launch a reckless war that no other President would agree to. Netanyahu not only has a compulsion of his own to dominate, ideologically propelled by an extreme form of Zionism, now in tandem with an extreme form of Christian Evangelism, to pursue his goals even at the risk of a global Holocaust in fact. These goals are to vanquish the Palestinian people from their homeland, to vastly expand Israeli territory, to engulf the entire region under Israeli/U.S. control, and to continue doing so, exercising controlling power with continual CIA/Pentagon involvement.
So we now face an emergency situation as mentally-troubled, ever more dangerous, Donald Trump is cornered as never before. He faces multiple situations spinning out of control: Iran, Israel, the economy known as “affordability”, NATO, BRICS, Russia, China, the midterms, and Epstein. What would be very painful, but manageable with knowledgeable advisers, for a healthy rational person is catastrophic for a person with such limited emotional capacity, and we cannot rule out his triggering, in a fit of rage, the unthinkable weapon—and igniting the end of the world. Preventing this from happening, by honestly recognizing what we are dealing with and rapidly responding to the situation, is the most urgent responsibility of us all.
An immediate way to start to restrain and control Trump is for his new $200 billion “supplementary” Pentagon funding legislation to be firmly rejected. He totally violated the Constitution by never even going to Congress, which has the sole power to decide whether or not to declare war. Now, we need everyone in the responsible media, and all academics, journalists, and civic groups, to insist absolutely that the Congress must not approve what Trump, Crusader Hegseth, and his other criminal associates are demanding of them. We all need seriously and unrelentingly to “pressure” Congress to step up and do what it should. We must therefore stop Trump, this seriously mentally-troubled man, from unleashing or stumbling into a full-scale WWIII, which could quickly escalate into worldwide economic collapse as well as worldwide nuclear warfare.
And another major opportunity lies immediately ahead. The upcoming repeat NO KINGS demonstration next Saturday, forecast to be the largest ever in American history, needs to become something far more potent, far more impacting, and far more ongoing than the previous versions that came and went. Something dramatic and sustainable is needed urgently.
